Dear visitor,


I am an electrical engineer, but I have interests in all aspects of engineering and especially mechanical engineering; mechanical engineering is a long family tradition. At the same time, the love for nature and the quest for new and better led to designing stuff to make exploring more fun.

The common designation for this "stuff" is "big boys toys".

At first, I designed and built things strictly for me or for my friends, but soon after my first cedar strip canoe was floating and after my first motorcycle accessory fitted my motorbike, I was encouraged to share my products with others and I have to admit, receiving compliments was quite encouraging, so I guess I'll keep doing it.

I believe that designing and building can reach perfection in style and construction detail even when done by amateurs and with amateur tools. The end result, when done right, is often categorized as art and in few instances, my products have ended up in the hands of collectors.
